Talk to your doctor to learn if VEOZAH is right for you.
Welcome to Cooler Moments. I'm Doctor Jen Ashton, and I'm partnering with Astellas Pharma to talk about something that often doesn't get talked about enough. Menopause. I've spent almost two decades as a board-certified OBGYN talking to women like you, in the doctor's office and on TV, about their bodies and what happens during menopause. Realizing you're going through menopause can absolutely be an unsettling experience, but I want women to feel empowered and educated to speak up and advocate for themselves.
That includes working with your doctor to manage your hot flashes and night sweats, also known as Vasomotor Symptoms or VMS due to menopause. There are more options to treat these symptoms than ever before. One of these options is VEOZAH. A 100% hormone-free treatment for moderate to severe VMS due to menopause. Unlike anything else, VEOZAH directly blocks a source of hot flashes and night sweats.
It works by blocking a certain chemical in your hypothalamus, the area of your brain that controls body temperature. I encourage those experiencing VMS to talk to their doctors to learn more about possible side effects.
VEOZAH can cause serious side effects, including liver problems. Your doctor will do blood tests before and during treatment. Stop VEOZAH and call your doctor if you have symptoms of liver problems, such as feeling more tired than usual, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, itching, yellowing of the eyes or skin, pale stool, dark urine, or stomach pain.

Don't use VEOZAH if you have cirrhosis, severe kidney problems, kidney failure, or take CYP1A2 inhibitors.
